Conditions we treat
Including, but not limited to:
Pelvic Health Physical Therapy
The pelvic floor is an integral part of our core and is comprised of muscles which surround the opening of the urethra, vagina (in women) and rectum. Pelvic floor physical therapy involves restoring function around the pelvis and optimizing organ and structural function with retraining the coordination of these muscles. There are many symptoms you could be experiencing in which Pelvic Floor PT would be a treatment of choice: urinary or bowel incontinence, constipation, pain with intercourse, coccyx pain, abdominal pain, sacroiliac pain, or pelvic organ prolapse.
Pregnancy & Postpartum
If you are pregnant or recently had a baby and you are experiencing pain or discomfort, we can help! Pregnancy and postpartum bring significant changes to the body, but with the right education and treatment, you can feel better and enjoy this special time in your life.
We commonly treat a range of conditions, including pain from cesarean sections, diastasis recti, sciatica, sacroiliac or low back pain, pelvic floor disorders, and carpal tunnel syndrome. Let us help you find relief and support your body’s recovery.
Myofascial Decompression
Myofascial Decompression (better known as cupping) is a manual treatment, that unlike other forms of soft tissue work, utilizes negative pressure caused from suction. This negative pressure helps to decompress adhesions between the layers of muscle and fascia resulting in decreased pain, improved blood flow, and increased mobility.
Trigger Point Dry Needling
Trigger point dry needling involves the use of a "dry" (without medication) filiform needle to release myofascial trigger points throughout the body. This release thereby improves function, increases range of motion, and decreases pain. It also helps to normalize nerve impulses transmitted to muscles. When strategically utilized along with other treatment methods, positive results are quicker and more dramatic.
Visceral Manipulation
A gentle, hands-on therapy that restores natural movement and function to internal organs like the liver and intestines. At Klein Physical Therapy, we use this precise technique to release restrictions around organs, helping alleviate pain and discomfort while enhancing your body’s natural balance and mobility. Our goal is to address the root cause of your discomfort, supporting lasting relief and overall wellness.
Personalized Physical Therapy Treatment Plans
After a thorough evaluation and assessment of your condition, we’ll provide a clear, personalized treatment plan designed to meet your unique needs and support your best path to recovery.
Our team uses a variety of hands-on therapy techniques, such as joint and soft tissue mobilization, visceral mobilization, instrument-assisted soft tissue work, dry needling and kinesiotaping. You’ll also receive guidance on posture for sitting and standing, as well as effective, comfortable ways to move and use your body. To support your progress, we’ll create a customized home exercise program so you can continue your improvement every day.
